Bio

Eirini Pantelidi grew up in Rhodes. She lived in the UK for 15 years, where she completed her studies and gained long teaching and clinical experience in the field of psychology and psychotherapy. She earned her gratuate degree in psychology & sociology (University of Derby), her Masters in counselling (University of Hull) and a second Masters in cognitive behavioural therapy (University of Derby). She has also earned a certificate in the EMDR method, which helps in healing post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD).

In 2014, she completed her doctoral research on low self-esteem and perfectionism. Upon beginning her doctoral research at 24 years old, she began her teaching career as a clinical lecturer in the dept. of social sciences and psychotherapy at the University of Derby and the University of Hull, where she taugh cognitive behavioural therapy and counselling psychology for 8 years.

At the same time, she gained extensibe clinical experience working as a Psychotherapist since 2001 with children/adolescents and adults in resolving anxiety issues, depression, post-traumatic stress, emotional disorders, eating disorders, panic attacks, and so forth. She worked with the national UK health service and in private practice with various private offices and psychotherapy centres.

Since 2011, she has returned to Greece, working as a Psychotherapist in private practice. Meanwhile, she worked as a lecturer in private institutions teaching courses in Masters in psychology and psychotherapy for over 2 years. Eirini has given many speaches in the North of the UK and in the Midlands, as well as in Greece. She has also been on radio interviews on the BBC and the Greek radio broadcast.
